But for the sake of everything that is good, please do not let this be your definition of ‘faithful’ or my goodness, even ‘girlfriend.’ You just reduced “faithful” to one of the ugliest feelings out there. Faithfulness has nothing to do with how you feel. When this is your definition of a good significant other, you just have made your relationship about you, about what you feel.  Please… yikes. Being faithful to anyone — whether that be to your parents, your faith, anything — is actually and should be fulfilling, wholesome, and liberating… and everything that allows one to love to the fullest.
